Eating disorders are alarmingly prevalent among U.S. college students, with 11% to 17% of female students and around 4% of male students displaying clinical symptoms[1]. Despite the severity and high mortality rate associated with eating disorders, only about one-fifth of affected students received treatment in the past year.
